Hi all,
I am having a problem using sound convert on my desktop. I tried to add some midi songs that downloaded from the internet, but why it does not allow me to add the songs to the sound converter? It keeps display error for "This file format cannot be converted"

What is the trick to download our own midi song to the PDA, mine is T615C.

Appreciated if anyone call tell.

You need this to convert them to "0" format first.

Thanks for your link for the converter, but why not all midi songs can convert format 0, is there any other trick to do that? Because one of my favourite midi song does not got converted and got an error message saying current file is corrupted?
Any idea?

Many thanks.

HELP PLEASE!

I went to hitsquad site mentioned above, downloaded and installed the MIDIFile DLL first, according to the directions, and then downloaded and installed the Midi File converter. I then used it to convert several midi files to the 0 format.

When I then try to use Sound Converter to make the midi files Cliea ready, I get the following Error Message:

"Soundconverter has caused and error in SOUNDCONVERTER.EXE. Soundconverter will now close."

I've tried it with several different Midi files...I've tried reconverting the Midi files to the 0 format...I've tried uninstalling the Midi Converter, reinstalling and then reconverting the midi files to the 0 format...And yes, I even tried the old shutting down and rebooting to NO avail!

What am I doing wrong???

I can't answer either of these as this has always worked for me. Bump it back to the top:)

UPDATE...I went out to the web and found another converter at:

http://www.gnmidi.com/gnmidfmten.htm

Although it is not freeware, as the one from Hitsquad is, it is only $12.00. Plus, there is a 5-day free evaluation period, which I made use of. It converted my Midi files flawlessly, and the Clie Sound Converter was able to add the converted files to the Sound Utility app on my T615...

So now I can WAKE ME UP BEFORE YOU GO GO, have some FUN, FUN, FUN while I'm LIVIN'LA VIDA LOCA!

I found another program that is free that can export midi type 0 files quite nicely. Check it out at http://www.anvilstudio.com/.
