Memory Stickage

Im getting the NX60, and want to know what the deal is with the Memory Sticks. If I want to store ATRAC3s (dont ask), do I need Magic Gate or can I store them on normal Memory Sticks? and vice versa with data on Magic Gate

For ATRAC3 formatted music, you need the White Magic Gate memory sticks!

All other music, files, pics, use the plain purple sticks.
