NX as a pc keyboard

Is there any software so that I can use my nx70 as the keyboard of my notebaord?

(As I always want to Control my Laptop in my bed....)

Your question is not really clear, but lets try it

I think what you need is the VNC.

Try lookin for it in the store, or in palmgear.com

The VNC is a protocol for remote managing your computer, so you can install the VNC server con your laptop, the VNC client in your Clie and through the wireless lan card you can see the screen of your laptop in your clie, and do anything in your laptop from the clie.

VNC works but I find that Win-Hand (http://www.win-hand.com/) is faster. By the way, you need a wifi card for either of these to work.

Couldn't you use bluetooth?

You could but it would be slower. Either way I think buying the wifi card is cheaper than the MSBT. But its good to mention it in case he already has BT but not wifi.

But theres another difference betwen winhand and vnc, the vnc is an opensource program and its totally free, while winhand is a commercial program, and you have to pay for it.

perhaps, winhand is better.

Win-Hand is free as well. They do offer a "corporate" version which you have to pay for but the only real difference is security (which you don't need if you are using it within a lan). Also I'm not sure if VNC lets you use the full screen like win-hand does.

I dont have a Wireless card, and i was trying the winhand with my computer and softick ppp on my desktop, and the server running in my laptop.

It keeps hanging my clie.

I dont know if thats because the softick, but i thinks its not, because the softick emulates all the normal connection, so its the winhand who is having problem with my clie to connect to the winhand server.

Anyway, it works very well, while its working before hangs, and if you can make it work, will be good, if not, try the vnc.

I was having the same issue as you when I got the new version. If its on MS then delete it and the copy it makes of itself into the RAM then soft reset and rehotsync it into the RAM and try again. If its not on MS then it could be a different problem.
