Hi everyone, I just bought an Sony Clie NX73V yesterday, and charged it fully, then played around with it, and figured out where everything was. Now, my problem is, I have a collection of .txt files(about 280 of them), which are about 6 mb. Now, I was curious how I would convert those to an e-book reader format. Right now, I'm using Tiny Book Reader, and Mobipocket reader, or something to that extent. I wouldn't mind switching to a different e-book reader, if it was worth those files being readable on my pda. The only thing is I am 15, so I don't exactly have any source of income, to pay for any specific ebook readers or ebooks. I unfortunately spent it all on a 256mb memory stick, and the clie itself. So basically, my question is:
Is there any way to convert .txt files to a readable format on palm? And what ebook reader would I need to read them?

Thanks,
Amir Amarhoun

If you're just looking for converting text files, check out the bottom part of this page:

There are some freeware links to desktop programs which convert text to standard PalmDoc format. Those are pretty much readable by any Palm reader.

Cheers!

this may be a long shot but, have you tried the Picsel viewer?

Free solution: TiBR 1.28 - OS5 support

"TiBR is a freeware converter + PalmDoc reader for Palm OS.

It works on almost every Palm OS device issued, still remaining small, fast and highly adjustable."
