Help with ZLauncher

Okay, I bought a memory stick, I have installed zlauncher now i cant figure out how to add different backgrounds and stuff. I went to the skins section and it just wont let me download them. Are there certain ones I can and cant use? I have an sj22. Any help will be appreciated

Did you read the "ThemesDoc.htm" that is part of the ZL zip file? It should answer most of your "getting started" type questions! ;)

put the images in

Palm/Programs/Zlauncher/backimages

That will make them be able to use for backgrounds.

the background image will automaticly show up on my clie???

I think... Wellsjs was simply trying to 'correct' what Lupe was stating.

the last 'subdirectory'/folder should be backimage .... not backimages

Sooooooooooooooooo your background files should go on your MS into the following Directory/Folder Structure:

/palm/programs/zlauncher/backimage

but my folder just call launcher, not zlauncher, so should I change the name??

No, launcher is just for apps that you can launch the apps from. There should be a folder with named as .. next to it, it will take you up one level, there you should see

.., launcher, Palm, whatever else folder you have

go into palm/programs/zlauncher/BACKIMAGE :D

ah yes, don't rename the launcher, don't know how it will affect your ability to launch apps from the card if you did taht.

Do you know how to use the file manager in ZLauncher? Study the directory structure of the MS, read the manuals and read these posts. This is not a difficult task.

Not really.... if you don't have a memory stick... you can always load/sync/install the background image into RAM using Hotsync. However if you are going to load a background image(s) into RAM via hotsync.... you cannot install them as .jpg or .bmp image formats. You must use .pdb image format. :)
