SJ22 won't hotsync

Help! My wife's SJ22 will no longer hotsync. My T665 still hotsyncs fine but when I try to hotsync the SJ22 I get a USB device error. I use the same cradle. It has hotsynced flawlessly until now. Any ideas as to what's going on? The last successful hotsync was 12/30/03.

maybe the userid issue...try create a new user id and test it again.

Does the Sj22 sync with any other computers? Does it still? Does the SJ22 have a different cable you could try? Is there detritus on the connectors? Sometimes I think part of hot sync is phase of the moon.
