whats the best car mount

I have looked at a few but am really unsure which is the best, I do not have a huge budget, Seidio's basic one is almost affordable. there are desgins questions to address with clie models such as my NX73v, this mount http://www.pdamods.com/proddetail.asp?prod=WSMOUNT for example holds at the bottom and top but thats where the camera is on my clie and it's only plastic so it may get damaged. this one http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=BD-SMSU1 on the other hand grips at the side and if it's anything like the last one i had it grips exactly where the memory stick is fitted so when you take the clie out of the holder the MS pops out. are there any alternatives ???? that won't break the bank. I have tried modifying phone holders but they are never quite wide enough to grip without squeezing to tight.

i made my own car mount.. using a cellphone holder, i have my 3.5mm audio jack plugged into my NZ90 and the other end to my 3.5mm audio input on my face plate of my stereo. then using the wrist strap to wrap around it and tighten it to the clip. basically, it's mounted in landscape mode (for landscape movie playback only).

it may sound risky but it holds pretty strong.. even on fast sharp turns. i load up .mqv (movie) files on my 1gb cf card and listen/watch to music videos and all sorts of episodes (simpsons, friends, etc.) and on the plus side, i have an upgraded stereo system in the car and had people stop and stare during 'cruise night' or even say i had a TV! i'd be like, "no guys, that's just a palm pilot.."
