asf movie files

I downloaded a movie that has an 'asf' extension (the free new Wallace & Gromit short). I tried converting it with TMPGEnc but the converted movie has no sound (either on the clie or on the computer).

Any ideas?

Just get an old version of VirtualDub (prior to 1.3) and it will allow you to recompress to an AVI file. Or you could get ASFTools and try to actually extract the data to an AVI (without recompression), this is however pretty buggy and works only for 1 file out of 3
