Having a problem with turning on

When I pick it up off the cradle it's already on. I can put the screen on Hold and turn it on again no problem. However when I turn it off with the power switch, I cannot restart it without a soft reset.

Is this common or am I just having a dumb moment?

I've actually noticed this behavior a couple of times... not annoying me enough to troubleshoot yet.

No you're not having a dumb moment. Sounds like another Sony Clie bug. We've all had our share of these. So many of us seem to overlook these "features" and think of hard resets as normal procedure for the Clie because of all the other cool stuff it does. Oh well. :-/
