Don't know if this is posted, but use this trick to listen to the MP3s on my NR through my desktop's speakers while my NR is in the cradle (kind of like the Audio cradle recently offered by Sony).
With MP3s on the Memory Stick,
1. launch MSIMPORT to mount the stick.
2. launch SonicStage and Click the PlayList tab
3. Click File / Import All and select your mounted drive
4. Click Next and then Finish.
That's it, you're done. Now you can listen to your tunes through SonicStage and your computer's speakers. No futzing to unplug your speakers and plug them into the headphone jack of the Clie. Works great for me. I hope the same for you too.
Just like to add a little note. When you run MS Import, a drive will be created on your computer. On my computer, it's Drive F. This drive is directly accessible through your computer, so you can use any mp3 player on your computer to run the mp3 files in the memory stick.

Exactly. I do this with Winamp if I'm at a friend's house that has a T-series cradle. I also use this method to watch movies I recorded with the cam on my NX. I have associated the .mqv extension (I'm pretty sure that's right) to Quicktime. I just mount my MS as a drive, go in and find the movie files and double click them. I can watch the movies without having to copy them to the computer. MSImport is a great thing.

this maybe a stupid question, but how do you associate .mqv with quicktime

I can explain for XP, but I don't remeber the exact steps for 98. I have no clue for OSX.
Select the file, hold down Ctrl and right click. There is an option called "Open With..." This expands and gives you some options. Select "Choose Program". This gives you a list of programs. Find Quicktime and select it. Make sure you check the box that says "Always use this program..."
In 98 it was a simmilar right click.. I'm pretty sure it used the Ctrl key.

basically the same for osx.
hold down the control key when you click on the file.
drop down to "get info"
choose "start with:"
pick the app you want and check the "always open with" box
if it is something that you just want to associate the one file, but not others with the same extension, then when you control-click you can simply go to "start with" and choose.

For this reason I'm going to soon carry around my connection cable and burnt copy of clie-desktop on a business-card CDR.
