I don't think u can compress the movie to fit in ur 128mb MS,
u probably need a with a bigger size.
I sure u can compress it to a small size, but not that small.

I now know how the others feel... annoyed. You people need to research this on your own. We have post like this every second day. Its everywhere! Use the search button.
But since I'm such a nice guy, you either use TMPG and encode it to MPEG then data import to the right folder, or you use Image Converter and set the output to the directory. Easy, simple, why cant you figure the details by yourself? After you done those steps you use a video splitter and put the pieces in the MS. You cant push all that into a 128 MB in one piece but you can however, lower the resolution to like 100x100? Loose lots of quality but thats the only way.

BTW, sounds like a case of pirated Divx movie. Those are intended for 700 MB CDs. I hope you're not pirating but if you are, just a warning to you, the legal authority is real tight on people's asses right now.

Ya, especially Bit Torrents sites right now, anyone who access it get lots of **** one by one.
BTW Was, 29 MB of memory is no good for any movie over 5 minutes but I put mine to default. I link to my Int. Media and the converter automatically put in right folder. But if you were to say C drive then you do what I did except you select C instead of Int. Media.

Ok, i just got my self a 256 ms. Could the 708 mb avi file be compressed into it. If so how will the quality be?
Thankyou

AVI is uncompressed media, find a way to make it into mpeg and itll be small enough if you make the res and fps small.

Excellement quality 320x240 (or 320x200) with mpeg sounds would fit 70-80 minutes on 256 MB MS Pro. I think 512 have best quality and little room for music left over or some pictures or whatever.
As the for AVI, its MPEG4. Does not include Divx or Xvid because those are COMPRESSED. To play those you can use a MMPlayer. The other thing is you can use TMPG to convert it to MPEG, do you no difference but its worth a try. Loose some quality here and there. The Divx and Xvid are best because they are small, and AVI basically is Audio Video Interlace so you can have sounds like ac3 with pictures of DVD quality. However, no use playing a 640x480 resolution movie anyhow because thats just was of memory.
