Ok, something weird going on here:

- Install failed: C:\Palm\clieA\Install\SonyMobileManagerInfoDB.pdb
Install synchronization failed
Conduit 'Install' Error: Unknown error. (FFFF)

Mobile manager worked just fine before. Maybe I was having this problem before making a new addition to it today... I don't always check the hotsync log. My Vx used to always give me an error about dates prior to 1970...

Anyway, anyone ever run into a reason why mobile manager wouldn't update their UX50?

I've checked the usual (hotsync checkbox in MM; enabled in hotsync custom) and done resets. Tried a usb hotsync instead of wireless - no diff.

All I had to do was delete the queue of files to be installed... on the next hotsync all was well.

Damn good tip! Glory be the "Search" feature on this website! Started getting the old MobileMgr install error BarbaraStreisand (BS) in my HotSync Log and began fidgeting. Did a search on this site (actually two tries altering the keywords slightly) and BingDamnGo!
