Hi,
I was in the middle of a Hotsync on my T665c when the following error came up. "Fatal Alert. DateDB.c,Line:2537,An earler alarm was found in skipped records".
I hit the reset button, but the error came up again. So I pushed the reset button in the back of clie, but I still get the error.
What can I do? I can't fire up the handheld at all now.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Have you tried a Hard Reset yet? I don't remember very well how it's done but I think it's like this: You press the Reset button on the back of the clie and then you press the On button the clie will ask you to do a total reset you say yes. Warning; if you do this all infomartion will be lost on the Clie, and you would have to hotsync it like if it were brand new, but you should have a backup that hotsync performs automatically, so all your data and apps should go back in like nothing happen. Good Luck!

Thank you - I've just done that. Now I'll do the hotsync and
see what happens....

Proof that frequent backing up to your computer does save you in times of crisis.

No kidding. I stress to clients all the time to make backups - I'm glad that I listen to myself. Either that, or I just like playing with my new toy so much that I can't help hotsyncing every 5 minutes ;)!!!!
