Skining questions...I've got a few

So, I am not really a newbie, more like a simpleton who can't get their head around an idea. I think the possibility of skinning and personalizing my NX is cool, but how? I know there are a few programs out there that can let me do it. Can you do it without the programs like yidshow, Photoskin, etc? If so, which is the easiest way to do it?

Next, where can you get skins? Do you have to make them all yourself or do people post them online. If they do post them, where are good places to find skins?

Next, can you change the status bar? If so , do you need a program to do it? If so, can it be the same one as the skin changing?

Finally, the silk plug -in. Is this different from the silkscreen? If so how? and are there any other plugins available? I think I saw a clock once or something.

While you are at SKINNING:

I recommend Colorize 1.3 (http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?sid=62269020021230190416&prodID=46384)
THE programmer is VERY responsive... after skinning your NX basic apps will look so BORING!!.

I still don't fully get the silk plug ins BUT I did download a few from reading this -post- (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1525&perpage=15&highlight=silk%20plug&pagenumber=2)

I hope this is a start... others with more experience will reply soon enough with MORE details.
