Look at this survey and the article:

It seems that PocketPC users are less satisfied with thier PDAs than PalmOS users. It's official, PalmOS is better than PocketPC!

You scared me, I thought for a second that PPC were being comapred to P-O-S...
*phew*
It's the PPCs that are the POS...
*apologies for the potty mind*

It's not satisified with their PDA, it's satisified with their pda's User-Friendliness. Pretty much everyone knows that Palm is geared to be user-friendly. Considering how often people cite Palm's user-friendliness in making it better than PPC, only 5% more people say Palm is more user-friendly.
The survey doesn't even indicate which OS is better, it merely shows which manufacturers have fewer device problems, and which OS is more user-friendly.
If I heard all Pocket PC news sites, as well as Microsoft, say Palm is better than PPC, it would be official.

Many PPCs perform very reliable while many don't. People that complain about the stability really need to look at there device before they go on web sites and cast there votes in about the
OS.

Right like any company is ever going to go out and say a rival product is better *rolls eyes*.

I wasnt able to view the first link, but in the 2nd link there is a statement in which customers praise dell.
>Despite Dell's setbacks, a whopping 82 percent of respondents claimed high overall satisfaction with the reliability of the vendor's PDAs, putting Dell at the top in this category.
I dont think it is proper to say POS is king regardless of your opinion about PPC or Dell. (I hate dell myself:))

well arent you lucky then Spiral :p
there are those who like the simplicity of the Palm OS while sacrificing functionality (although nowadays you're hardly sacrificing any functionality over the PPC with Palm) and those who live in denial thinking they get heaps of functionality while lacking all user-friendliness with the PPC. This is just my opinion, though. And before you go thinking im another 11 year old Clie user who is pulling facts out of his @ss, i did have a Toshiba e310 for about a week because i thought Windows Mobile would satisfy my needs. After a week of using that OS (an experience similar to pulling teeth) i returned it to Officeworks for a refund, then bought a NX-70V from ebay for the same price (second-hand of course). I am much more satisfied with the Palm, even if i cant play my WMA files anymore (big ***** deal).
all this talk about more power in PPC, granted thats true, but whats the point of power when your PDA crashes too often to notice ;)
Windows Mobile users feel free to flame me. I like the warmth :D

I thought the same thing when I got the 5455, it crashed all the time, and I got a NX70v also. Then I got a 2215 which had a problem with alarms and after that I said that I will never get a PPC again. But here I go again, I will be recieving a 3955 in the mail tommarow. Yes, I had it before and I enjoyed it more than any PDA I have owned.
