Hi

I have NX70V and I have installed PALM desktop 4.11 and after installing Sony Clie driver it was working perfectly.

One week now I get an HotSync error when it tries to synchronize 'To Do List'.
It says that I have too much data for my Desktop and I must erase some and try again, but I have very little data at 'To Do List'!!

What's wrong? I reinstalled windows yesterday and it keeps telling me the same!!

Should I throw it out the window?

Seems to be a problem with the NX. It happened to me, only way out was a cold boot, reinstall everything!!!

However, use the search function, several good threads in the last few weeks dealing with that very same problem.

Good Luck

I have a slightly different problem, using palm desktop 4.0 and Mac OS 10.1.5, I sync my datebook and only the first month of entrys are installed on the NX. Only a couple of the others show up in the following months...This is driving me nuts (a short trip)

Anyone with suggestions?

Thanks

John

Read the following thread that I had searched for you. One of your apps is clashing with the ToDo.

I forgot to post on my own thread. It was NX Movie Aide that was doing it. Delete it, if you have it, then delete all the ToDo list files (there are a few). Once you do that, hotsync and it'll fix itself. I haven't checked the new NX Movie Aide, but the developer said he fixed it.

Same problem here, solved following the suggestion of evaoni.
NX Movie Aide was the problem. I de-installed it and deleted the tdNM.pdb file. No need to delete Todo DB. It all works fine now! Thanks evaoni.
I think the guys at Green Dragon Software are messing things up. The same problem occurs if you use their PowerDA util

Hi,

The problem has been fixed in the latest version. I'm sorry about this, I didn't notice it in testing (I don't use ToDo list, and none of my beta testers noticed anything). It's fixed now though.

:) I just updated Power DA as well, it also works with To Do list (and adds a "Custom" launching method so you can open your list of DAs with any button on the device). I'll soon add support for holding down the scroll button for 2 seconds or something to launch it, and the Back button for quitting Power DA.
