Happy Valentine's Day to all,

My NX70 keeps turning off while I'm in the middle of reading Ebooks and Documents and I'm getting frustrated. No, I'm not a very slow reader and yes, I know about my Preferences Settings and I have the Time Out set at the maximum allowed 3 minutes.

When I had my NR70 I remember having an application that would allow very long Off Time Outs, but I haven't been able to find anything like that for the OS5 platform.

I have done a Google Search, along with Searches both here and at Palm Gear with no luck.

Does anybody have a suggestion or know of an application the likes of which will increase the Off Time Out that is not a Hack. A DA should be OK, while doing my Searches I did find a DA Launcher that is OS5 compatable.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can also just scroll the jog wheel whenever you feel the need to reset the 3 minute timer...

Auto off DA would do the trick. You can change the setting to up to 30 minutes.

Available HERE (http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?sid=41107820030130153046&prodID=12095).

Good luck.

And, as an aside, you might want to try McPhling as your DA launcher. It works beautifully, and does so much more besides. (And is VERY OS5 friendly!)

Thank You to all that responded. I am all set up now and will enjoy reading so much more.

As far as the Jog Wheel suggestion, it doesn't seem to work with my NX. It did when I had my NR, but not with the NX.

And just a point of interest, I am using McPhling already and enjoy it's functionality a great deal and have had no OS5 related issues.

Now, if I could get this thing to wash the dishes, mow the lawn and do my laundry, I'd Marry it!!
