What will you do?

Just curious to all those of us out there that have warranties from BB, or CC and are wanting to upgrade to the NZ. What "difficulties" will crop up? or have you put up with on your former models? Has anybody thought about this?

yep been thinking of doing it two different ways...

one is let machine drain all the way, where it wont turn on..and either say machine wont turn on...or just say battery wont charge anymore


or make up something about the camera like it has dead pixels..but can only see it on the PC...

The key is to go to a best buy that has no nx70 in stock but has NZ90, and when they say they dont have anymore nx70 offer to upgrade and pay the difference...

I have never done it before, but heard many people do this in the past.

I upgraded from my N series to my NR. The mp3 remote quit working and would freeze up. I took it back and BB told me that they couldn't replace it because of that, that it was a secondary issue. Well, they gave me an 800 number and told me to call and get another controller. I called and was told it was unreplacable, and I was given a # to give the store to authorize the replacement. 1 hour later I was happy at home with my new NR70v. I know the NZ won't be the latest or greatest 5 months from now, but it is now. It has the newest operating system and will accept the newest memory sticks, that is enough to make me interested in itself. I'd love to use Kinoma to put an entire movie on a memory stick. That would just be awesome. :D
