I ripped 10 songs from a cd and converted them to 44.1kHz 192kbps mp3s and loaded them on to my memory stick. Strangely only 8 work. the other two show up with no name and question marks on their icons. They play just fine on my pc and I've tryed recopying them but that didn't work. There isn't anything really different about them fromthe other songs (not the largest or anything like that) but for some reason they just won't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This also happened to me...I found that for some odd reason when you Hotsync too many songs it gets corrupted or somthing, just hotsync one by one, that helped for me.

Bad news. I deleted all my music and reloaded just one song (which didn't work b4) and it still doesn't work. Here are the ID3 tags to see if anyone can find something wrong with it.

no idea sorry...possibly someone accidentally touched the little metal prongs on the MS.

I doubt that thats the problem b/c the song plays off the MS on my desktop just fine. Clie Audio Player is just so sensitive about little settings that I just bet something is not quite right.

I don't listen to music on my Clie anymore....was too much of a hassle, too many errors

Finally got it to work :) . I reconverted the two songs that wouldn't work to 160kbps (from 192 like the other ones) and they worked.
