Hi,

Has anyone managed to connect to a Motorola phone using their UX50?

I have a Motorola v500 (UK model, on Orange) which I'm trying to connect to, but I cant seem to find any drivers for it.

Im not particularly fussed about it dialling up to the internet, being able to send SMS messages is what I'm after.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Many thanks,
Chris

PS: Merry Christmas to everyone!

Sorry, I am registed, but for some reason it said unregisterd. Just incase you thought I was some vagrant who was having a joke :)

BTW, I've tried the Phonelink update from palmone but that doesnt contain drivers for my phone...

Update: Just to let you all know, there are updated drivers (as of 22 december 2003) on the Sony site, entitled :
"SMS Bluetooth Enabled Phone Driver Update Version 1.2.1"

Hi debug77,
can you build up a GPRS connection over Bluetooth? I have the V525, which is a branded version of the V500 in Germany, but I cannot build up an GPRS connection. GPRS is working with my Nokia 6310 over Bluetooth, but with the same settings for the V525 I get only a Timeout message.

Regards
Bernd
