I realize that this isn't going to bring the kind of joy to everyone else that this brings to me, but I know there are a few other TealScript fans out there :)

Why not? Who has used it in the past will be happy to use it now on NX, it's just that I am used to grafitti and this program is of little value TO ME. But technically it'S a big improvement

I happen to be very excited. SHHHHH don't tell anyone that part of this program allows you to do Caps (ala MiddleCapsHack) by crossing over the alpha/numeric line. Not that anyone thinks that is so special ;)

TealScript isn't like Jot, it doesn't try to change graffiti, but it allows the user to customize graffiti. Or, if a new OS5.2 PDA comes out that uses Graffiti 2 instead of the original Graffiti, TealScript could be used to put the original Graffiti back.

On a side note, macros don't seem to work on the NX with this beta. Too bad, as macros are one of my favorite things about TealScript.

Well, I contacted TealPoint about the problem I saw, and while they had a newer beta they emailed me, it didn't fix the problem I saw. However, they did mention two things in the email that sounded interesting.

One is that they seem to be gearing up for Graffiti 2, in that the new engine will let you define multi-stroke characters.

Second, there hasn't been any code developed, but writing anywhere on the screen (like Graffiti Anywhere or NewPen) is on their wishlist for TealScript.

Personally, the second is much more interesting, though using the first to create some custom shift modes could be useful.
