Self-Modification for VG

I posted this in General because it could potentially apply to many handhelds.  Would it be at all possible to replace the grafitti area and the screen on for example a T665 with the screen of a NR/NX/NZ to get virtual grafitti?  Is there a way to modify this?  I'm just wondering if this is at all possible, not really thinking about it though. You would need an OS hack or modification to do it probably.

Get a NR/X70. Get a T665. Gut the T665. Cram all NR70 innards into T665's package.

I'm thinking jsut to replace the screen by buying the parts? Just a concept, not actual plans.

You would need a display driver that would recognize the extra screen area. You would have to modify the ROM, adding the Hires+ API while keeping other parts of the NR rom out. Also, the battery on the T series is behind the hardware buttons. The screen in the NR is too thick to fit, you would have to use a slimmer battery (murdering any kind of battery life). Novel idea... but I don't see it happening at the hands of anyone but the Sony engineers.
