Everytime I ever have to reset my nx70v I grab the pen and start twisting off the the tip piece of the pen... only to then remember that this stupid side DOES NOT FIT INTO THE DAMN HOLE!
Why would sony allow you to twist off both the top and bottom of the pen.. but only one side fits the hole.
The pen tip side btw looks like a miniature shovel with thick edge on one side... what the hell is this for...drawing on the clie?
 stupid design.

I understand the ?? ?? factor of your comments. Than anger I don't think is needed though. The flaw is not in the stylus. I am not sure what the other side is for though.

Its easy enough to realize that the side without the ridges won't work. Maybe the front has a purpose we don't know of.

the front serves as a screwdriver if you wanna take out your battery . . . .
and no i don't have this problem because i have decent memory . . . .

no, the stylus tip [front end], isn't a screwdriver. I tried using it as a screw driver, it only wrecked it...now it is a bit deformed.
As for the topics problem, I always remember when doing a reset manually, (assuming you are right handed) grab the end tip with your right hand and grab the center piece with the other hand. Just twist to unscrew it and viola.
And the design is actually good, because whenever you want to do a reset, you take the tip of the stylus apart that has essentially no function. Unless you want to scrap your screen with the sharp edge.

in that case, maybe they made it unscrewable just for trhe sake of mixing and matching colors to your liking . . . . or they're gonna come out with a ligthed tip you can just screw onto your existing shaft . . . .

I have been told that the 'shovel' end is designed to assist in the taking off of screen protectors.

What's worse is that I often have to try 3 or 4 times to get the stylus out of the clie! The tip is just too hard to grab- it's like picking up a watermelon seed- I guess my fingers are too fat.

That is odd, because most screen protectors recommend you to grab a tape and remove it that way....

Haha...mine is too loose, I just nudge it a bit and it slides off.
