NX80V movie player woes

I've searched the forum and was unable to solve my problem.

When I convert an avi file using Image Converter I end up having to soft reset my NX80V when I try to view the movie.

The movie appears in my list and when I try starting the movie, the movie jumps to the end and locks up the Clie. This has happened with every movie I try. Any thoughts?

Same thing here....Nobody seems to know though? that's odd. The only thing different about my predicament is that mine's a .mov file not an .avi

If its an avi its probavly a divx. The only way i've gotten divx movies to work on my clie is to convert them to mpeg using tmpgenc and then use image converter. Even then though, I lose the sound most of the time. I'm having problems with audioplayer right now so it seems to me that sony really screwed up in the multimedia department.

If the movie jumps back and forth, just try taking out the media card (MS or CF). Movie player should just take you back to the movie list page, no need to reset. The jumping back and forth is usually because the file did not get converted properly, probably because IC can't convert special files (like DIVX). You'll probably have to convert it to a different format.

I used Image Converter with a .Mov and it didn't work...any help?
