Clie Friendly Sites

99% of the web sites I want to visit generate the prompt "Page too large. Content may not be displayed properley. Continue?"

Can anyone advise of Clie friendly sites or sites that mirror the more popular "bloated" sites.

Try http://www.turcic.com/palm.shtml he made a huge collection of palm/clie friendly sites especally for the great iSilo app. Download the freeware isiloX at www.isiloX.com, download the web channel collection and copy the internet adresses you like to any browser you like. I personally use the links with my wifi card and netfront. The Wifi download is very fast! :cool:

Also, try these tips to lessen the chance of a 'Page Too Large' error:

1) Turn off animations and images

2) Click on the green magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen to Zoom Out and Wrap Content to Fit Screen

If you set netfront to disable cache and delete cache from clie files you will get page to large errors much lese often. I am posting this from my clie using netfront! It makes a big difference try it

For the purpose of clarity: a cliesource.com mobile edition (optimized for wireless devices), as in something like http://mobile.cliesource.com/, or http://mobile.cliesource.com.wireless/, by way of example. (This is just an example. No hot link here.)

Another "real" example is treocentral.com for Handspring Treo users:
