Microdrive writable when in Cradle?

Hello,

I have an NX70V and I'm thinking about upgrading it whith a CF Card. The CF would be mainly for mp3's and Videos. There have been some posts which deal with microdrives in NX series and that they are read-only because the NX can't supply enough energy. Would this change if the Clié is in Cradle? I mean will I be able to write on Microdrive when the Clié gets power from the Cradle?

Naja da mach ich mich vorher aber nochmal kundig wie lange der NX70V mit einer CF Karte mp3 spielen kann. Ziehe nämlich auch in betracht mir 'nen HD mp3 player zuzulegen (evtl. IPOD 20GB). Aber wenn der Clié ordentlich lange läuft, würden es 512MB für unterwegs auch tun.
