I get a message "Cannot find skin DB for the Audio Player"

when I tap on Audio Player.

How do I fix this?

Hi glock23, this has been discussed a few times in a couple forums.

Basically, you cannot hotsync an audioplayer skin....you need to load it to your MS and then copy it from there.

Thanks for that help but where do I find the original Audio Player skin?
I don't see it on the Clie CD.

There isn't an original skin. But there are some sample skins in you Sony Handheld directory. For example: C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\Add-on\AudioPlayerSkin Samples.

It is still there...you need to delete the new one that you just hotsynced which is causing the conflict.  (use something like Filez to fo this.)

I tried that, I can't delete with Filez or McFile nor can I just move it OR over write it.
It says "error' or unable to move datatbase part of ROM.

Any suggestions?

Uncheck the "resource db" and "read only" options and then delete it.  (This is the one that is not in ROM.  The ROM version is the default skin.)

Too bad, I hoped you wouldn't have to resort to a hard reset - they are such a pain!  Oh well, I tried.  This time load the skin directly to your MS and do NOT hotsync it.  Then select it in your MS and choose "copy"
