Hi IC is splitting a 2 hour movie into 2 files when using the standard setting. Any way to keep the output as 1 file or any way to combine the files into 1?

I had read once that IC splits movies into approx 128Mb files regardless of what quality. This was done so each file will fit on a 128Mb MS. Unfortunately, each of these split files are slightly too big to fit on a 128Mb MS.

I am not aware of a way to combine them to one file.

Image Converter version 1.1 won't split. Read the following for links and directions.

Image Converter 1.1 splits movies if longer than 2 hrs. Version 1.0 splits the movie into 128mb files.

So what happens if I use say a 512mb or 1gb memory stick ? will it still split the movies ??

When image converter (1.0) splits my movies, the second split is WAY off on the sound. The first portion is great, but somehow, the second portion video works, but sound is screwy. I am fixing this by converting smaller MPEG files over so IC won't have to split, but trying to guess the necessary size of the MPEG kinda sucks. Any other ideas? PS, is there any LEGAL means of obtaining IC 1.1? Thanks

If you have a 512mb or 1GB memory stick, it will still split the movie if it is longer than 2 hours as far as I know.

This happens to me when converting straight to hard disk (which has 50gb free).

Is there an app that will allow us to recombine the split files? Looked at VirtualDub but it won't recognize MQV files.
