Wireless issues: UX50

I can't connect with my SBC 2Wire Home Portal. I just emailed their tech support but have more faith in ClieSource. Now when I go to connect, it connects on the auto settings and freezes up the browser/entire Clie so I have to keep doing soft resets.

It works beautifully at a friend's place on their wireless Linksys network so I know it works. The bummer is that it doesn't work at home.

Having to do soft resets is really sad. I'm going to stop messing with my wireless at home.

Here is one issue that I have discovered with my UX50 and DI-614
When I turn off SSID broadcast the UX connects to the Router for the first time. Then I try to disconnect and reconnect but it wont connect.

I need to restart the router or the UX50 in order to get it to connect.

I do not know if its a problem with the Router or the UX50.
BTW I use 128bit WEP and mac address filtering on the DI-614.

Pls. check ur AP router MAC add setting, is it limited only for some MAC add.Btw who knows where we find UX50 MAC add.

It took me a while to hook it up also. Got it to work by not using DHCP and but by setting up my primary PC setup to my assigned IP address

Primary PC name !!
Primary PC address

255.255.255.0
