One of my T-615's has developed an odd problem: The battery appears to be out of juice, and I can't recharge it. When I try to charge the Clie, either in the cradle or by cable, the battery light glows orange for one second, the "Palm" logo appears on the screen, then the logo disappears and the logo fades. If I take the Clie out of the cradle (or disconnect the cable), then try to charge it again, the same thing happens. If it just needs a new battery, I can probably handle that. But I'm afraid that it might be something else, and swapping in a new battery might be a waste of time and money. Any ideas?

It sounds like it's stuck on the reset screen. You might try a hard reset to see if that solves it. If not, you have a hardware problem relating to either the battery or the battery charging circuits.

My Clie no longer charges on the cradle or the other cable I bought a while back.
First the cradle went, now the cable. I wonder if my car charger will work.
Haven't charged the clie in about four or five days. Down to 50%
Maybe the cables just went bad?

Hmm - now the cradle IS charging again.
I guess I am just talking out loud, but in case I am overlooking something obvious I thought I would write in and share...

Barghest, if you don't use pda for a while i could happen that your battery power is to low and then charging isn't working also.
What you have to do then is take an other battery and put the + on the + and visaversa
