There is not much on the actual installation CD ?
Isn't Konami movie player supplied ? I cant find it anywhere.
And if it isn't, then what about this solitaire game and Bejeweled for example. They ain't on my cd :( ?

You need to check if you were in the recall

The recall has to do with a defective backlight.
NOT missing items in the packaging.

Mmmm
Cheers
I already checked my serial when I got it, I am supposedly outside the affected serial range

It has nothing to do with the serial #.
When the CD Autoplays...it should load a program where you can choose what programs to install.

Thanks
Didnt think it was anyting to do with the serial #, just saying that I had already checked it to make sure it affected by the blacklight problem.
The cd autoruns but not all of the software is on it !

This is how mine works.
Autoplay
Select: "Third-party Apps"
Select: "Games-Install button"
Then choose your game and install.
BTW, they're just demos..which are available online

the recall says it all

Really?
The funny thing is the recall is about a backlight and not about a CD-ROM

Whyclie - Yeh it is . I've just emailed em.
The software package was small enough and then they have to cut it down even more just to squeeze that extra little bit from their £. And what's this about them not supplying paper manuals anymore?
What a complete rip off. Sony used to be the best, like high standard flagship models with big chunky manuals and cds. Now like someone said in another thread it is really no better than other leading manufacturers.
Scrooge-like of them.

- breakout,
- bump attack, and
- tak tik
at least I beleave so - the breake out gamne was only a demo... but now I downloaded a free "backgammon" and a free "othello" for bored minutes were I dint like to mind map new kanji by "Dokusha".
By the way: Any news about purchasing the "Decuma Japanese" software? - They still sell it only in Japan as far as I know. :-( Were the hell get it?

Proud owner of TJ35 or so I thought. My brother has an SJ33 with bejeweled. I thought buy bigger and better. However, got the same 3 crappy games breakout, tak tik and bump attack. Very disappointed. Now will have to buy it!!! could have done that with the tungsten E for less money!!!!
