Bluetooth Passkey

every time that i try to connect to a device via bluetooth i am confronted with a mesage asking for a passkey however i dont understand what it is asking for. i have tried the password for my clie and the password for the other device however they do not work. what is it asking for?

it's a one time password that you enter into both devices during the pairing process. You just have to make sure it's the same in both. Some use "1234" to make it simple :)
