Hey when do you all thing this will happen? A huge wi-fi cloud in the sky that we can all access from anywhere? I mean it might not be free but it will be more reliable than only having access at your home or at the coffee shop. I just bought my WL-100 and it is already becoming extinct to me. When I am at home I just use my laptop and when I am out and I really need to access the web there are no hot-spots nearby. When do you all think this will happen in the future, soon?

Cleveland, OH is also installing a massive wireless network. Currently CWRU has the largest known wireless network in the world I believe. http://www.onecleveland.org/

Wow, I wish Hawaii would do something like that. Those are both great ideas!

I uuse wireless mostly at school. Most colleges in Cali are ready for wireless to some extent so are places like Kinkos etc. Only thing is paying for certian hotspots suck outside the schools.

I think wifi is great for home use, but paying for hotspots is really expensive for being able to use the internet in only a few areas.

On the streets of downtown Toronto, there's tons of APs floating out there. Most everywhere I go there's something available. Hopefully the word "most" will drop out of he equation. :)
