So you basically are looking to make your TG50 act like a bluetooth headset so you'd talk through the TG50 instead of through your phone?

Yup.

thanks

I don't think there is a link between the audio and bluetooth ouputs. Try a search-I've seen it discussed here before re audio player

The TG-50 doesn't support the headset profile AFAIK so this isn't possible.

Perhaps I'm not understanding the initial post, but I use "TAKEphONE" on my TG-50 paired with a Sony Ericsson T616 and Jabra FreeSpeak BT200 Bluetooth headset (only because I got tired of waiting for the SE HBH-200.) Carrier is AT&T Wireless in the US. All dialing is handled on the TG50.

Here is the link for "TAKEphONE" at PalmGear:

It works quite well. Phone is either in the wall on the charger or in my purse--only thing out is the headset or the CLIE. BT rocks!

Should've read more carefully: my headset is paired through the phone, not the CLIE. I believe coxy is right.

I use the nokia hdw-2 headset with the nokia 3650. When I try dialling from the tg-50 while the headset is paired, it won't dial. If the headset is off, it will dial, then I have to quickly turn on the headset and press the send / answer key. I have to get the timing just right else it won't work. How do you get around this?

I believe majority of the BT phones don't support concurrent multiple bt device paring, only a few SE ones (such SE T-616, or T68i) does that..

If your phone does not support that, you can't use TG-50 to dial the number AND user BT headset to talk...

That's as far as I understand..

Thanks

No, he means AND. You can't dial from TG50 when phone is paired with the headset.

Never mind coxy, just one more post till the magic 100!

Glad to be of service:D:D:D
