I just purchased a 256MB Memory Stick Pro for my NX-80, and it seems like when I take a picture with the MS Pro in the drive, the pictures turn out sharper compared to the ones with a normal MS. Am I crazy?

I too have a 256 MSPro, I haven't noticed a quality difference between it and the Blue MS,

what I have noticed is the speed thing between the two, too bad the 512 and 1 GB versions are so darn expensive!!:) :)

I've got a 512 and have not noticed a dif in quality. I think the 512 is down to $180 (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35443). What I did was sell my 256 and told the person I would ship it the second my 512 came. So it was more of an upgrade rather than an all out purchase:)

The MS is just a storage device that your Clie writes the file to. Now the MS Pro may provide faster loading times of your files but it simply cannot improve image quality of your camera.

I realize it is just a storage device, and it may just be coincidence, but I swear the photo's look better on the MS Pro - Must just be a placebo :)

I always go to www.techbargains.com and find their lowest price and use that as my target price.

it's possible regular memory stick is slow, and I believe sony apps and even acidimage usually give a rough thumbnail before sharpening. MS Pro allows it faster access to skip the rough image possibly.
