....the Comp USA website's claim that they will be shipping the NZ90 on the 17th (Monday)? Anyone KNOW?

Just wondering. I am tempted to order one and see what happens.

it is possible.
in other threads they have said that even sony is shipping on the 17th and the relese date is just the day that everyone will be getting the NZ.
Personaly I do not belive it; it is far more likely that comp's people are just wrong, but go ahead and order it now and if it does not come on the 17th, cancel.

I don't think Sony is shipping before the 20th, according to their website. Could the 17th be the date Sony is shipping to stores and the 20th is when they're shipping to individuals?

Well *I* am for one impressed that you can actually *see* the NZ for pre-order on the compusa.com website. You can't say the same thing for bestbuy.com or circuitcity.com. :)

p.s. - all I did was a search on 'nz'

acording to the sony europe website it will begin shipping 28th Feb which is good news for those of us who live in the UK

Also from the website -

Doesn't look like they are advertising it as a CF slot.

I think that rob is actuly right, that is what i heard from the other thread. So, if the B&M are getting the NZ's on the same day that sony is sending theirs to the individuals, would it just be faster to get at a B&M instead of waiting for shipment?:confused: 'cause i don't think that anyone else is going to get the drop on sony on their own product.
