The darn thang sits so loose in the holder. I lost mine somewhere between Houston and Dallas and between two airports.
It would fall out anytime I turned the clie upside down, oh well should've put some tape over it or something.

Hmm. My stylus stays in tight...only the part that extends sort of pops out...but it won't come all the way out unless I pull it.

I lost mine, but only because it's so thin that it wore down completely and disappeared after 2 weeks of use.

I lost mine within the first 3 days, Astros Fan. I had to bite the bullet and buy a new set. I was hoping that it was a defective stylus, but it turns out that it just flat out doesn't fit. Now, I just don't even keep it in anymore. I've since bought a case for it which has a spot for the stylus.

Okay, glad to know I'm not the only one who got screwed.

I lost mine somewhere between Los Angeles to Denver to Houston. I didn't bother to buy a replacement as I prefer the stylus pen I got from a drug company rep. It is nice and heavy and has a decent pen as well. It does say Wellbutrin SR on the barrel and that is always good for a chuckle. I never did get used to the thin stylus that came with it, but I had already stopped using the stylus on my SJ20 and switched to the pen so it wasn't that big a loss as far as I am concerned.

I know exactly the pen you're talking about flesh99. My dad is a rep for the same company and I was given one just the other day, heh.

It's simply the way they are designed. Make em cheap, the fall out and we spend $14.95 on a new 2 pak only to lose them again. :(

Still got mine after a couple of months. I am looking forward to getting a case that can hold a "normal" stylus. I agree that the thing is just too thin to use on a regular basis. Now if I only could find a wellbutrin rep, I'd be in good shape....

I still have mine, I can even turn the unit upside down and shake it and the stylus doesn't budge... :D

Same, I don't understand why this retracting stylus is giving everyone else problems.
So far I have no problems with it at all. And I've had my nx73 for almost 6 months now.
