Why the hell did Sony

take an excellent PDA like the NX80, and then give it the MOST POORLY DESIGNED stylus known to mankind? It's a piece of ****. I'm surprised it doesn't break in half between my fingers while I'm writing with it. It's a shame that such an easy to improve thing has escaped the realm of Sony's conception.

What the hell were they thinking?

Like everything in my NX80, when i get the palm out, the people gets surprised,

when you spin to clamshell mode, they are about to die of envy...

when you take the stylus, then pee on their pants...

I know that the design is not the best, but the people love everything in my NX80, as i do too.

I don't really mind the much complained about stylus on the nx80, (I must confess that I love the way it fits into the pocket at the back of the nx) but then again, the nx was my first ever pda.....until I got it, touch screens were things that only existed in star trek and stuff.
But I think I can understand, if I had gotten used to writing with a stylus more like a pen than a toothpick, I would hate to make the switch.

now I perfer the NX80 stylus, I find the others too long and dont like to unscrew the top off to reset.

I don't like it at all and only use it in a pinch (like if I can't one of my multi-pens laying around).

And my only problem is that occasionally I'll forget forget to turn it from pen back to stylus.

Thanks goodness I use screen protection!

Why do some of you not like it? To thin? Compacting? What? I have an nx70v and people complain about how thin the stylus is, I like it thin. And I'm 6 foot something so I have really big hands too.

:D I ll just pick my mind up out of the gutter and carry it for this discusion.

It took me a while to get used to my small stylus but i also have an extra stylus left from my NR that i use when i feel like it.

If you want to post a complaint register or dont post at all.

I hardly use the Stylus on my NX73. It sucks. I use a Pen/Stylus which is a lot more comfortable than that earwax / belly button lint / toe nail fungus remover that comes with the PDA.

I actually like the NX80 stylus and how it's stored. I'm a small person so it's even a plus. All of my stationeries are small so I like the stylus small too.

But what I don't like ... either the stylus or the slot began to wear out after like 2 months. It felt like something was stuck at the bottom and it wouldn't lock, but the stylus went all the way down so there wasn't really anything in there except that it has worn out. After a few more weeks, I finally lost the stylus. ;-(((

And the replacements are darn expensive.

the stylus on UX50 is the same. I'm happy for the keyboar. I could barely write with the "old" one. funny thing is If I use stylus I don't even telescope it :-)

I am shocked that you guys don't like it? I remember the first time I used one on my dad's SJ35 and thinking what a brilliant idea it was. I was happy to see that my NX80 had one too :)

I have a collection of extra stylus' from previous PDA's from the monster handspring stylus to the T615 small Stylus. Lemme know if anyone is looking for a particular one.

I loved the one from my Handspring deluxe i actually use it with my sony sometimes.

I use the NX60 and i think the stylus is really cool ... took a while to get used to it with the buckets i have for hands. but now its real cool and in fact i prefer it to the hard buttons for games ... only problem is that its so tiny I keep losing the stylus .... :(

Agree as I like to test beta applications which make me to use the reset without any unscrew. No body know it at all when I do that in train.:D
