I am in desperate need of the T615C ROM images created by Brayder's JackSprat (http://www.brayder.com). Over a year ago I created the backup ROM images, then used JackSprat to delete applications from the ROM that I felt I wouldn't need in order to free up valuable flash memory space for use by JackFlash.

Everything was fine until I lost my hard drive to a crash, and that included the ROM images. I have recently upgraded to a TJ35, and now have no way of restoring those original ROM files to the T615C - which makes it difficult to sell the T615C on ebay.

I would sincerely appreciate it if someone with a T615C would be willing to extract their ROM images for me using JackSprat, and either e-mailing them to me in a file attachment, or sending them to me via FTP (I can set up a temp FTP account on my server).

Please, this is really important. It seems like every time something like this is mentioned the person that brings it up is ignored. Please do not ignore me. I really need the help.

Okay, anonymous one-time unregistered guest poster seems to have vanished. Can anyone else with a T615C please help me?

I have come across a file labelled T-600 ROM if you want it. I'm not totally sure it's for the T-615, but it's worth a shot if you want it.

Thanks to jayboydog for all of his help. In spite of a mishap or two, we managed to get the proper ROM file for the T615C installed and working. The ROM apps are now restored to the original factory condition.

to upgrade the palm built-in mailer with the latest version (i need it to connect to my japanese ir-based cellphone), i used JackSprat to remove the old application. unfortunately, JackSprat messed everything up... and to add insult to injury, I DID NOT BACKUP before running JackSprat

*sheeesh*

so, if any you kind guys out there could at least provide me with a JackSprat backup of the T-600 or maybe T-615 rom, it would be most appreciated

thanks a lot

Have you tried this...

Get the full developer ROMS, + the Palm OS Emulator, load JackSprat onto that, backup the ROM from OS Emulator, and then load the backups onto the your real Clie...

Hi just bought a 615c off ebay and didn't get a cd to install it, even after numerous attempts to get one from the seller. This is a gift for my wife and i really need to be able to install it. could some one email me it to me? or send me an email on how to get it. Fitzgerald04@direcway.com
thanks

PS I'm a little computer illiterate as well so good instructions would be great.
