Which of these applications do you prefer? I have been a registered user of iSilo for some time but feel that I am not tapping into it's full potential. What I don't like is that the download webpages are not scaled down to fit the screen which makes viewing them somewhat difficult. I have no experience with HandStory. Can anyone advise of pros/Cons?

HI! I had 'issues' with iSilo too, until I found the forums at www.turcic.com. It's a fabulous place to get help (no matter how stupid the question) I even got cookies explained well enough so that I can actually use something I have to log into first! WOO HOOO!

There are several ways to 'avoid' horizontal scrolling (I assume that's what's bothering you...)

Check it out!

Can't seem to find the info on www.turic.com. Does anyone know if iSilo can be configured to reduce the size of downloaded web pages to avoid the hassle of horizontal scrolling?

I could never get iSilo working, it all seemed too convoluted. Handstory on the other hand, was very simple and user friendly.

I gave iSilo a good try out (and that sure involves a lot of fiddling about), but Handstory blew me away for sheer simplicity, ease of use and extra features.

The way I can simply right click on images or web pages when browsing on my desktop PC and then save them directly to my Clie is absolutely fantastic!

iSilo may be the better choice for power users who can be arsed to fiddle about with scripts, but for one-stop convenience, HandStory can't be beat!

iSilo is nice, but way too complex to configure for even simple tasks. HandStory is a piece of cake to use, fulfills several functions including image viewing, and integrates into Windows far better. I'm much happier with HandStory than I ever was with iSilo. And...it can use the same clip sites from turic.com!
