Overseer answering your question, I modified the built in setups and renamed them as Home tv Home DVD and so on.

In CLIE RMC, you first select a device setup and get the remote interface to appear. Then pull-down the menu ("Options") with the menu button (in the bottom bar, next to the home button). Select "Detail".
Now select "Delete..." which is between the "Cancel" and "Test".

These peeps got you covered with your problem.
I must say the remote really kicks butt.
I can now come up to any audio/video device and I have an instant remote!!!

The range isn't the best . . . . and it wouldn't have killed Sony to include a simple "learn" function like almost all universal remotes have . . . . point being, i wanna control my xbox dvd player with my clie cause i don't wanna carry the huge xbox controller in my car . . . .

PBM.... im not to sure but i read that a guy used RCA to control his kids xbox.
does "kicks butt" mean that it's good or that it's bad?

While on topic about the RMC, can anyone tell me the name of the .prc file for it? I can't find it when I go to Apps -> Delete/ Beam

You can't see it because its in the ROM. You have to use FILEZ (free from palmgear) and check the little box that says rom. At that point you can see and copy it but itcan't be deleted.
