I'm looking for a First Aid apps. I think it will be valuable to have for soccer coaches. Any recommendation? And where can I find it? And how long have you been using it?

Also, try www.memoware.com- they have several first-aid references done in several formats.

Personally, however, as an Emergency Medical Technician, Red Cross instructor, Scout leader, etc., I am not sure I would recommend most first-aid applications I have seen for someone like a soccer coach.

First of all, I FIRMLY believe that someone on the staff of ANY group like a team, troop, club, etc. should be CPR/First-Aid certified. For this person, a simple set of 'reminders' would be very helpful.

Next, whenever working with kids, the preference is that parents handle most first-aid needs (although I well understand that there are exceptions. but then- do you have a written permission to treat?)

I also get worried when untrained people try to deal with breaks, sprains, pulls, etc. that are common in active sports because this is such a tricky situation in the field- even for trained professionals.

Anyway- my concerns aside, do try Memoware- good stuff there!

or this excellent EMS program here:
