I'm not all that familiar with digital cameras - I just bought my first, a Sony DSCP92KITIS

I use Acid Image (on my NZ90).

I take pictures on my DSCP92KITIS, then insert the M/S into my NZ90 to view pictures and tranfser to my Kingston 512 C/F card (using CF Magic).

My question is, using Acid Image - it takes longer to view (load) pictures taken from my DSCP92KITIS, than viewing/loading pictures just taken with the NZ90 built in camera.

Does this have to do with the camera settings on my DSCP92KITIS? If I take 100 pictures on my DSCP92KITIS, it takes a long time to view them (because of the load time) on Acid Image.

Your pics taken with a digital camera are MUCH larger than those takes with the built-in cam(unless you have a 1.3megapx camera!). The bigger they are, the longer they'll take to load.

The DSCP92 is a 5Mpixel camera. So that would explain why it takes longer to load those pictures

if you want to load the pics real fast then you should convert them pgp format and then it will go really fast.

What i also noticed is that it doesn't matter if you have a 5meg or a 3meg picture, the time is the same and the scroll area stays the same also.
