I got an SJ-22. read the forum notes about uninstalling the Handspring software first. Got the copy of how to do that from the Sony knowledge base. Did it. Clie syncs fine, but when I tried to sync my or the wifes visor Windows XP pops up a found new hardware window and wants something, software, drivers, whatever. This could get old, re-installing software every time I want to sync the other one. I would appreciate any ideas.
you dont need to uninstall the desktop software you installed for your handspring.
just leave whatever hotsync manager/palm desktop software you have install there, install the handspring stuff, then install the sony stuff (i dont know if it matters, but install them to the same folder)

Reinstall the Handspring one first, then the Sony. Pee might be right, but my Palm and Clie are in separate folders: Palm and Sony Handheld, respectively, and they both work fine (but only if Sony's is installed last).

Coming back hat in hand. The Computer at work running windows 2000 gives the same result. Can't have both a visor and a clie using the palm desktop at the same time. It seems like it might be just a driver it is looking for for the Visor after the sony is installed. Come on guys this is a real question, not whether it is better to have one or two memory sticks, which strikes me as more phylosophical than important.
