Can I create a category tab based on an application on the memory stick, using the creator and type ID?

I was trying to create a category tab for Docs to Go, the drag and drop way. . . . I got a tab with all the DTG files on it, but when I clicked on one, I just pulled up the DTG list screen.

The umbrella DTG application is the only thing I have in Ram - Word, Pics and Sheet to go are on the card in the Launcher category. So I thought perhaps I need to have a more specific tab that points directly to the Wordview files (which are the ones I'm interested in)??

TIA

hmm, don't know how this might be possible, but generating applications specific tabs sounds pretty good to me. why not asking zztechs about a general implementation for that?

this brings me to an idea. what about tabs with actual parts of other apps. i would i.e. like to link in the today view of agendus.

Well, Zlauncher actually CAN create applications-specific tabs. It's supposed to be drag-and-drop, but that only opened the index list of the application for me. But if you do it manually (new category-fill in creator ID and type field-- then all records the fall under that new tab and can be launched directly from there.

VERY cool feature. Just doesn't seem to work for Docs to Go tho, I still only get the list, not the individual doc.

It did work for ThinkDB/Smartlist, but then I decided to delete that full category and instead used FileZ to make individual smartlists launchable, since I have quite a few of them I rarely uese and don't need icons for.

Can't seem to make the individual Docs to Go files launchable with FileZ either, must be something about the DTG program.
