Photo Apps on TJ25

I just upgraded from the SJ22 to the TJ25 and was disappointed CLIE Viewer has supplanted PhotoStand. I liked the slideshow feature on PhotoStand. Is there any free utility for the TJ25 which would add such functionality?

While we're at it, the other photo-viewing app on the SJ22 let me change filenames right on the handheld. I haven't been able to find a like feature on my new device.

Any help appreciated.

I haven't found a free photo viewer yet that offers that functionality to the SJ series but I really like Acid Image (from www.redmercury.com) It loads images much faster than Clie Viewer but it has a limited trial period and then it costs $19.95 to register. But.... it is a very versatile photo viewer... one of the best on the market.

I also don't like Clie Viewer, mainly because it's way too slow loading thumbnails.

I simply re-installed PG Pocket on my TJ25 (i think from my original CD, or maybe i beamed it...can't remember)....it works just fine on OS5, & is much faster in handling the thumbs (& is also faster displaying pics compared to my old n610c because of processor speed).

I do not use the Photostand feature & did not install it, so i don't know if it too is compatible with OS5, but if PG Pocket is, i'd bet Photostand also works.

GMovie was NOT compatible by the way...

Wish i could delete Clie Viewer, but it's in ROM...

Hmmm. My SJ22 and the software disc which came with it went back to Best Buy when I picked up the TJ25. I swapped 'em out in light of last weekend's price cuts. Oh well.
