My boss wants to sell me the UX50 (we do a lot of software and this is one of the models tested so I am able to grab up the remains). I don't know a lot about it so sell it to me or warn me or something guys. Thanks! Oh, and how is it so different from the UX40?

If the UX40 is one without WiFi and Bluetooth, I'd rather buy a lemon..

The UX40 also has Bluetooth.
Its only missing the WiFi from its big brother UX50.

Get the UX50, it is one awesome machine. Nothing else as capable on the market.

The UX40 is identical - even in its' flaws - to the UX50 - just does not have the WiFi. If you don't plan on using WiFi then you may not want to pay the extra money for that feature. A month ago there was a 100.00 difference in price between the two - it may be less now that the prices are dropping. There have been several threads that discuss bluetooth vs. WiFi for connecting to the net. Personally speaking bluetooth is all I need. They both are awesome machines!
Actually the UX40 has a different coloring of keyboard and around the screen.
