What's the best TV Guide for use on the CLIE?

I use tv browser, and tv grid listing. It is two seperate programs, but works well, and was relatively inexpensive. tv browser + tv pocket browser (the pda part) makes a listing of information based on your selections of area code and provider. TV grid basically puts it all in a nice grid. Thus, tv browser could be used without tv grid, but not the other way around.

I whole heartedly agree with this combination.

TV Grid/Browser- nice combo. Browser is customizable to the amount/type of info included. I find the movie descriptions/reviews very handy, as well as the episode descriptions (help to remember if I've already seen it!)I keep my date spread at 4 days to keep the file small on my NX. Be nice to offload it to the stick. I currently have both apps off the stick with Zlauncher.

Use PowerRun to keep the data on the MS.  When you sync new data, just run TV Browser or TV Grid Listings and it will be copied back to the MS when you quit.  If you are using TVGL, it has a setting for smaller fonts.

I tried this but TVGL doesn't recognize the TV Browser database when it has been moved to the memory stick with powerrun.

Move the database manually to the TVGL folder in PowerRun.  From then on it should work fine.

thanks. ok, I moved the TV browser database to the TVGL folder in powerrun. Now TVGL recognizes the listings and works fine but what am i supposed to do with the actual TV browser program (not the database)?? I tried putting it in the TVGL folder also but then when it runs instead of TVGL. And when i just leave it in ram it doesn't recognize the database

Unless you actually use the TV Browser program, just delete it.  I did, and it doesn't have any bad side affects.

just curious . . . I've Never tried TV Grid Listing. What makes it better than just plain TV Browser?

TV Grid Listings takes info from TV Browser and makes it easier to view/read. Kind of like the TV Guide Channel

I bought TV Browser and really liked it, but when I tried TVGL, I was in love with it.:D   Made viewing the data so much more logical.

I'd never tried TVGrid Listing until Yesterday.  All I can say is IT IS AWESOME on an NX.  Much better looking than TV Browser (which is not hi-res or hi-res+ friendly) and it has a much better launch icon too!.  I can't imagine why I didn't try it sooner . . . geez     Just thought I'd mention it here in case somebody new was wondering....:)

The only thing I like better is TV Browser's search feature....
