The flash player is nice but it seems to have great difficulty with panning motions. Is there anyway to improver the "framerate" in general? Perhaps overclocking I cant afford to buy any more programs though lol

some of the flash movies appear to be slow but thats the way they were created!

Don't forget tweaking the "Quality" setting under "View" in the menu. Setting it to "Medium", or even "Low", results in smoother playback on complicated Flash files. For the most part, I leave it on "Low", which still gives me an emminently viewable Flash experience.

I have this same problem. I have several Flash animations which I've created and they are no where near the speed they should be, even at the lowest view setting.
Are there any other Flash Players available?

Have you downloaded the flash player update from sony. Some files still play slow but I think that I have noticed some performance improvements.

That was me. For some reason the computer I was on wouldn't let me log in.

some people say that using lightspeed with the program helps in the framerate
