I went across the specs of the TJ a few days ago and I discovered that it runs on the Dragoball ARM processor. It has been a long time since the Clie uses the Motorola Dragonball processor. Now they uses three types of processor-Intel ARM, Motorola Dragonball, and their own processor. Which is the most possible processor which Sony may use for the next Clie?

I personally am hoping for the Intel 400mhz that powers the Sharp Zaurus, a Clie with that behind it would kick so much butt!

I'm also really hoping for a 400mHz processor. Arm for compatibility reasons. I think games will be much better and flash content will almost all be useable, as well as emulation stuff etc.

I do hope that they will use Intel ARM processor since it can be under/over clocked

That would be great with a longer lasting battery ;)

I like the way the UX is setup, it is nice and small to begin with, and if you want extra battery life youu can get a battery that clips on. This way you can have the best of both worlds a decent form factor when you need it and a long battery life when that is important. It is unfortunate that the extra battery is so expensive, but if you have the money to afford a UX a guess you can afford that extra battery as well.

I'm not sure how much of a difference the Handheld Engine makes in battery life on the Ux, but the concept of a CPU that scales based on the task is a good one.

It would be nice to see user definable CPU scaling in the Handheld Engine, as well as a higher overall clock speed. :)

U want a NiMh??? BAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!!! It has not the capacity like a Li Ion.
I hope for a 400MHZ Cpu, but the UX processor is nice too.
BUT... We need for the next Clie a battery like NZ which can be removed easily. The UX battery concept is good, too but very expensive

Why not having CLIE which uses the rechargeble battery that the Net MD uses

Net MD (Minidisc) is basically MD walkman and player, just that you will be able to transfer songs to the MD from the computer through USB connection. The battery that my Net MD uses is Ni-MH (nickel metal hydride) rechargeable battery. The battery is slim and in my opinion can be develop to use in CLIE
